Convert a Word file (.docx) to PDF. Headings, lists, tables and images stay in place.
Good to know
Text with its formatting (headings, bold, italic, colour and alignment), bulleted and numbered lists, tables with borders and merged cells, and images. Page size, orientation and margins come from your document. You can include headers and footers; page numbers become real numbers.
Footnotes, text boxes and shapes, columns, an automatic table of contents, and comments or tracked changes. If you need those, export from Word itself.
A PDF uses standard fonts instead of the fonts on your computer. A line may therefore break one word earlier or later, and a long text can move up or down a little. The content and the order stay complete.
